The Serpent in the Tree of Life

The Serpent in the Tree of Life

Classic Tarot decks such as the Thoth deck and the Ryder-Waite-Smith Tarot are saturated with Qabalistic symbolism, but because of that system’s cultural and religious affiliations, these rich symbols are often overlooked (sometimes intentionally) by tarot readers who approach the cards from a pagan/polytheistic perspective. This course will offer insights that open up the Tree of Life to more spiritually inclusive interpretations, adding layers of meaning to cards that sometimes seem all too familiar.

Don of BlueMonday has studied and practiced tarot reading since 1986. In recent years their reading practice has been enriched by examining the Qabalahlistic symbolism embedded in the classic Thoth and Ryder-Waite-Smith decks from a Wiccan perspective. Although Qabalah is a very systematic approach, their own use of the Tree of Life is largely intuitive, and they intend to make this rich symbolism meaningful for tarot readers who integrate intuitive approaches.

Jungian Approach to Shadow Work: How The Past Runs Your Present: Shadowwork Mechanics (1 of 8)

This class explores how the unconscious mind, social conditioning, and repressed parts of the self impact your present-day emotions, relationships, and choices — and how understanding your Shadow opens the door to lasting change. Based on Carl Jung's work and theories.

You can attend this class without taking the whole series.

Taught by Kayden Barker, a personal development mentor, Reiki Master Teacher, and mental health advocate. Kayden teaches chakra healing not as a concept, but as a lived practice for understanding, balancing, and aligning mind, body, and spirit — informed by both formal psychological training and years of personal and client-based energy work.
